Landing restrictions in Pembrokeshire
Ramsey Island and the Bishops and Clerks: OS map OL35
- You are welcome to land at the Harbour on Ramsey all year round, GR 706 237.
- It's free if you remain at the harbour,£4 Adults £2 children RSPB Members free if you want to access the Island
- Please do not land on Ramsey Island's beaches during peak seal pupping season (between early august and the end of november.
- No Landing on the Bishops and Clerks (RSPB), as there are delicate puffin burrows, and Manx shearwater burrows as well as seals sensitive to disturbance.
Skomer,OS Map OL36
- You are welcome to land on Skomer in North Haven on the right hand beach GR 735 095. Access onto the Island is between 10am and 6pm every day except mondays, (bank holidays excluded).
- No landing fee if you remain on the beach. £6 Landing fee payable for access onto the Island. Please find a member of staff for an introductory talk and stay on the paths to avoid the puffin burrows. Skomer Warden: 07971 114302
- No landing anywhere else on the Island at any time. (Skomer Marine Nature Reserve)
Grassholm and Skokolm: OS Map OL36
- No landing on Grassholm at any time due to the Island being the world's third largest Gannet colony. (RSPB)
- Please keep your distance from the Island, (roughly 100m) and if the colony shows signs of being disturbed by you then move further away.
- No landing on Skokolm at any time. (RSPB)
